Career

 

Olivia started her professional life as a vet after graduating from the University of Sydney, and worked in small animal practice for eight years in Australia and England. She completed her Diploma of Book Editing and Publishing and began working as a proofreader and editor in 1996. She worked as an editor at the Medical Journal of Australia for 8 years and for MIMS Australia for 25 years.

Career

 

​Rebecca is a professional editor, writer and communicator, with a special interest in the life sciences. She worked in a research environment for 17 years, then transferred her scientific skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity and communication to editing. Rebecca has worked both as a freelancer and in-house on academic journals, large multi-author technical reports, grant proposals, book chapters, PhD and master dissertations, fact sheets, letters and presentations. She has also written press releases, news articles and conducted interviews. Rebecca has worked with SuperScript Writing and Editing for six years.

Qualifications

Rosanna holds a Master of Publishing and Communications from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics) from the University of New England, Armidale.

Career

Rosanna has worked both in-house and as a freelancer on nonfiction titles, from travel guides and reference books to government reports and academic theses and reports. Her attention to detail makes copyediting and proofreading her main focus and passion. She is also experienced in project management and copywriting, and is interested in how the publishing industry approaches matters of accessibility and inclusion. Rosanna has worked with SuperScript writing and editing since 2020.​​
