Career

 

​Rebecca is a professional editor, writer and communicator, with a special interest in the life sciences. She worked in a research environment for 17 years, then transferred her scientific skills, such as problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity and communication to editing and writing. As an editor and writer, she has worked with government and non-government organisations in Australia and internationally. Rebecca has worked as a freelancer and in-house on academic journals, large multi-author technical reports, grant proposals, book chapters, PhD and master dissertations, fact sheets, letters and presentations. She has also written press releases, news articles and conducted interviews. Rebecca worked with SuperScript Writing and Editing for six years before acquiring the business from former principal, Olivia Wroth.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Qualifications

Rosanna holds a Master of Publishing and Communications from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics) from the University of New England, Armidale.

Career

Rosanna has worked both in-house and as a freelancer on nonfiction titles, from travel guides and reference books to government reports and academic theses and reports. Her attention to detail makes copyediting and proofreading her main focus and passion. She is also experienced in project management and copywriting, and is interested in how the publishing industry approaches matters of accessibility and inclusion. Rosanna has worked with SuperScript writing and editing since 2020.​​
